From our friend Matt who is hiking the Appalachian Trail. Hi Don: Thanks for asking. I left on April 1 from the base of Springer Mountain and made it to Watauga Lake Shelter outside of Hampton, TN on May 2. I had hoped to keep moving to Damascus, VA, but I decided to get off the trail, as my knee developed a pre-stress fracture condition. Overall, I did 422 miles, plus the approach trail to Springer. The Nimbus Pack worked very well. It was a tight pinch volume-wise and when "fully-loaded" (40 pounds and change) it did not ride as well, but for an ultralight pack I though it performed nicely. I'll keep the weight sub-40 lbs and I'd buy an extra pouch or two for my next section hike, whenever that might be. I've attached a photo of me at the start, looking a bit disheveled and unorganized. My pack organization got exponentially better by the day as I learned to pack the Nimbus "on the go". It's a different experience from using an external frame pack. Thanks for checking up on me. Matt
