  • July 3 - Guided Kayak Paddle Through History
    Join us on a morning paddle up the historic Blackstone Canal. During our trip, check out local wildlife and vegetation. Our return trip will start with a portage into the Blackstone River. Traveling down river through quick-water, historic mills and woodlands.

    Personal Equipment Needed: Water, snacks, Bug Repellent, Sun Block
    Time: 9:00am
    Cost: $30.00/ with own boat $10.00
  • July 5 - Guided Paddle Trip
    Join us on a natural & historical kayak paddle on the Blackstone River. After a Paddle & Safety Talk we will leave the store & paddle down to the Lonsdale Wetland Area before continuing down the Blackstone River with stops in several coves that offers views of wetland vegetation & wildlife. We’ll be finishing off the trip at Central Falls Landing before heading back up stream to the store.

    Time: 10:30am to 1: 30pm
    Cost: $30 Adults, $20 Teens, and $10 with our own boats.
    With Hot dog & Hamburgers after trip add $5.00
  • July 7 - Blackstone Valley Outfitters would like to welcome the Narragansett Chapter of the AMC Wed. Night Hiking group to the Lonsdale Wetland Area and thank them for adding our store as a destination stop during the hike.

    Cost: $30.00/ with own boat $10.00
  • July 11 - Guided Paddle to Valley Falls Wetland & Back

  • July 12 - Blackstone Valley Outfitters would like to welcome the Summer Camp of Audubon, Taunton, MA. to BVO & the Bike Path.
  • July 13 & 19 - Blackstone Valley Outfitters would like to welcome the Summer Camp of Norman Bird Sanctuary to BVO & the Bike Path. 10:30am
  • July 11 - Evening Paddle at Water Place Park
    Join us for different view of downtown Providence, RI. We will be paddling from to Water Street put-in to Fox Point Hurricane Barrier, then up the Woonasquatucket River to the Providence Mall before a return to Water Street.

    Personal Equipment Needed: Headlamp, Water, Bug Repellent
    Time: 7:30pm
    Cost: $30.00/ with own boat $10.00
  • July 17 - Blackstone Valley Outfitters will be on Narragansett Bay with Save the Bay for the annual Save the Bay Swim.
  • July 17 - Blackstone Valley Outfitters would like to thank the Chiness Church of C.F. for having us at their youth retreat.
  • July 18 - Guided Paddle to Valley Falls Wetland & Back

  • July 24 - Guided Paddle Trip Depot St., Grafton, MA. to River Bend Farm, Uxbridge, MA
    We will be paddling through the heart of the Blackstone Valley as the river meanders from flatwater, quick water and Class I to II Whitewater. There will be 3-4 portages during the trip.

    Distance: 7.5 miles
    Time: 8:30am at store
    Cost: $40.00 , with own boat $20.00
  • July 25 - Blackstone Valley Outfitters would like to welcome the Outdoor Adventure & Anything Fun Meet-up group from Middleboro, Mass for visiting the valley and thank them for booking all our kayaks for our Blackstone River trip from the store and into the Valley Falls Area with a return trip to the store for a cook out . Call and let us put you on a waiting list to for any available kayaks not used by the group.
  • July 31 - Blackstone Valley Outfitters would like to welcome the Outdoor Adventure Meet-up group from Rhode Island for visiting the valley and thank them for booking all our kayaks for our Blackstone River trip from the store and into the Valley Falls Area with a return trip to the store for a cook out . Call and let us put you on a waiting list to for any available kayaks not used by the group.
