and cross over into the river after Route

- We run two trips today. Our 9:00 am
trip starts at Front St. in Lincoln,
paddling up the canal and return to Front
St. by the Blackstone River. Our 2:00 pm
trip will leave the store and head down
stream in to Valley Falls Pond with
visits to several coves to begin your
fall foliage excursions.

- Guided Kayak Trip Meet at store and
car pool to Manville Hill Road in
Cumberland to paddle the backwaters of
the Blackstone to Hamlet Ave. in
Woonsocket and Back.

- Come star gaze with us along the
Blackstone. We will be paddling into
Valley Falls Pond for a evening of
getting together and star gazing. (Mother
nature permitting) Head Lamps required.

- This trek will start you off at
River Place Park in Woonsocket and we
will paddle down stream returning to our
store in about 6 hours.There are 4
portages around dams with a break at the
Kelly House Island.

& 28th - This trip will leave the
store and head down stream in to Valley
Falls Pond with visits to several coves a
outstanding fall foliage excursions.

- Starting on the Branch River and
paddle into the Blackstone just down
stream from the Blackstone Gorge. Taking
out at Thundermist power dam. Some quick
water.

– Come join us at Blackstone
Valley Outfitters of a basic map and
compass clinic. We will cover reading a
topographic map, use of a compass,
plotting a course on the map and
triangulation.

Equipment needed: Compass pen and ruler
- Sept. 27th
- Starting at River Street in
Northbridge, Mass we will paddle down the
Blackstone River to River Bend Farm in
Uxbridge, Mass. During the paddle we will
paddle up a backwater to Goat Hill Lock
one of the last locks left intact on the
canal. After our paddle and a break we
will hike up to Lookout Rock to view the
River course we had just paddled in all
its fall color.
